A Humble tribute and Thank you to Don Mackay. "The Man Who Made A Stand" is only weeks old.
Doug teamed up with Bill Chambers and Roger Corbett to produce his first album. It contains twelve of Doug's songs and a cover of the Stan Coster classic "Cunnamulla Fella". Doug decided to name the album "Turn the Tide" after his song that raises awareness of depression in the bush. "Mateship is a great part of our culture" Doug explains. "If we look out for our mates, be present to them when they're doing it tough, and talk things out, it can help to turn things around". The album contains the work of some great muso's with Mick Albeck on fiddle, Clare O'Meara on accordion, Roger Corbett on guitars and mouth-organ, Bill Chambers on guitars, lap steel, dobro, and mandolin, Michael Muchow on electric guitar, and "BJ" Barker on drums. ↓ Choose a title{column0}
